You’re an interesting, funny and smart woman. I figure I’ll drop in, from time to time, and ask you some questions.

Can you tell me why some women seem to put such extreme importance on what brand their purse or hand bag is? I just don’t understand why it’s such a big deal. As a guy, I notice if a purse looks modern or whatever, but I can’t tell the difference (nor do I care) if it’s a $300 purse or a $20 purse. Is this another one of those contests women have to make each other jealous?

I’ve never thought to tell a woman, “Hey, that purse is sexy on you.” So, tell me, Dirt Queen, what’s up with this purse obsession?
